Effective May 5th, US Airways will assess a $25.00* fee for a passenger’s second checked bag.   Given that, along with the charge, they are anticipating an increase in the size and number of carry-on bags and the resulting extended discussion on the dimensions of carry-on bags, there may be delays at check-in.
