The bedroom is separated by glass-paned sliding pocket doors. The kitchenette has a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, flatware, and serving set for four. The mini-fridge will be stocked, when advanced reservations are made, with snacks and desserts. The living room is large with unique wall art, 40in flat screen TV, IPod docking station, and dining table with two chairs. The bathroom is off the living room and features a standing glass shower and TV in the mirror.

Located off the southwest corner of Marsha Sharp Freeway and Quaker Avenue, the Hawthorn Suites is 1.2 miles from Texas Tech University and just minutes from United Spirit Arena, Jones AT&T Stadium, Depot District, Civic Center and downtown. A diverse selection of restaurants and retail shopping are also within a few minutes drive at Canyon Crossing, Lubbock's newest retail shopping strip center. The South Plains Mall and even more restaurants are located on Slide road, within five miles of the hotel's front door. Lubbock's Preston Smith International Airport is 10 miles from the hotel and normal driving time is 14 minutes.
